Welcome and Hello – classroom

Small group instruction:

(coloring/cooking/health/community): discussion Using correct articulation and grammar to request, Respond to wh- questions, attending skills Games, turn taking skills, role playing – puppets Inferencing, and higher-level thinking skills (responding or asking “why”. 11:30-12:30 – Eat snack Review of day’s activities by asking specific questions when questions Example: what happened first, next, last etc. and description

Release students to parents individually.

Location and Requirements

One Hour Sessions will be held on Saturdays from 10am – 2pm

The location is 3160 Rt. # 27, Kendall Park, NJ. 08824

Students: Must be diagnosed PDD and/or have Autistic-l Like tendencies and/or be classified Autistic by a neurologist and the Child Study Team

Preschool program: between 3 – 4.11 years old

Elementary school program: between the ages of 5 – 12 years old

Lesson plans will be collected on the Saturday prior to the scheduled date, so that staff is aware of specific vocabulary, questions and concepts being introduced and/or reviewed.

Confidential Records will be maintained at Cross County Educational Services

These records will consist of:

- Local school district classification (IEP)

 - Neurological report

 - Social history

 - Speech/Language evaluation and progress report

- Educational evaluation and/or progress report

- PT and/or OT evaluation and progress reports
